The Richard Burton Exhibition is now open at Amgueddfa Cymru/National Museum Wales!

We’re incredibly pleased to share the news that Amgueddfa Cymru / National Museum Wales’ exhibition, ‘Becoming Richard Burton’, is now open to the public! With a new, COVID-friendly adapted design, the exhibition is running until October 2021.

Since early 2020, PDR worked on the design and implementation of the exhibition, alongside Touring Exhibitions Manager, Ashley McAvoy.

When COVID-19 shut down events across the world, we worked with Ashley to adapt the exhibition to ensure it could be COVID-friendly, opening up the space and restructuring the ‘flow’ of visitors.

In our latest video, Touring Exhibitions Manager Ashley McAvoy explains how this exhibition came to life; through a tumultuous period of cancelled events and new restrictions, ‘Becoming Richard Burton’ is a testament to the determination of the museum team and the adaptability of the design.
